German court sentences 23-year-old to five years for ISIS membership

A German court sentenced a 23-year-old to five years in youth custody on Thursday, for membership in a “terrorist organization.”
Duesseldorf Higher Regional Court found Tarik S. guilty of joining the Islamic State group in Syria and Iraq between November 2013 and March 2016.

He is believed to have worked as a guard at a training camp and to have published various propaganda videos.
