ISIS fundraiser arrested in Nangarhar province in Afghanistan
A crucial member of the Islamic State (IS), which is also widely known as Daesh terrorists, who was a key fundraiser of the extremist group, have been detained during an operation carried out by the National Directorate of Security (NDS’s) Special Forces in eastern Nangarhar province, provincial official said on Wednesday.
The detained Daesh member is originally a resident of Rodat district of Nangarhar, the provincial governor media office said in a statement, identifying him (the arrested Daesh militants) as Jawid.
According to the statement, Jawid, the detained militants was living in Hayatabad of Peshawar before to be appointment as key fundraiser member of Daesh militants.
Separately, the NDS Special Forces also detained another militant “Zabiullah” who was involved in destructive activities in the province.
Zabiullah is also from Nangarhar province and belongs to Khogyani district that has been recently visited Nangarhar province in evil purpose of target assassination in accordance with instructions of the terrorist group, the governor media office added. Both the detained terrorists confused to their crime.
It is worth mentioning that NDS operatives recently detained a group of five people who were involved in kidnapping cases in the same province.
