More than 50 foreigners detained in Istanbul on suspicion of ties with ISIS

More than 50 foreigners have been detained in Istanbul on suspicion of ties with ISIS, reports TASS news agency.

“The security forces of Turkey have detained at least 54 foreigners in the time of anti-terror operation in Istanbul. The operation was held in 11 different places in 8 districts of the city.

The detainees are the citizens of other states, they fought on the side of ISIS in Syria,” reads the message. The criminals planned to escape to Europe.
