The east of the Euphrates River witnesses renewed violent fighting between ISIS against the regime forces
The eastern banks of the Euphrates River opposite to Deir Ezzor city, are witnessing violent clashes between the regime forces backed by armed militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the members of the Islamic State terrorist group.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the fighting between the both parties is concentrated in the east of Hatla area, which the regime forces managed to control, where the violent clashes between the both parties, were accompanied by intensive shelling by the regime forces on the clash areas, and exchange of targeting between the both parties.
The areas which the regime forces advanced in and controlled on the eastern banks of the Euphrates River opposite Deir Ezzor city and its military airbase, are witnessing violent fighting from time to time and counter attacks by the organization as well as attempts by the regime forces to achieve more advancement.
These clashes in the east of the Euphrates River are accompanied by continuous violent fighting between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the members of ISIS, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, near Al-Mayadin city, in an a continuous attempt by the regime forces to advance and enter again Al-Mayadin city in order to take the control of it.
