ISIS find a sick new way to kill – they dragged the captive to his death behind a truck
ISIS have released a new shocking video showing an alleged spy being dragged to his death behind a vehicle in Libya.
The horrific footage shows the man being tied up to the back of the truck and driven along the main road until he dies from his injuries.
ISIS dressed the victim in an orange boiler suit, designed to copy the uniforms wore by prisoners in Guantanamo Bay.
The appallingly graphic video starts of by showing a man with a grey beard and short hair, named by local media as Rushdi Ageela Omran Al-Masouri, 43, lying on the ground.
His hands appear to have been tied behind his back and he attempts to ask for mercy before he is tied to the vehicle.
The video goes on to show the man being pulled along the main road, his back and arms exposed to the tarmac.
Following behind are several white vehicles, watching the awful punishment being carried out.
ISIS continue to hold small parts of territory in Libya but have struggled to maintain as much a stretch of ground as its main franchise in Syria and Iraq.
The jihadi group had briefly held much of the city of Dernah in Libya but have struggled to keep ground against other warring factions and government forces in the country.
Libya has had two administrations since August 2014, when a militia alliance that includes ISIS overran the capital Tripoli, forcing lawmakers to take refuge in Tobruk in the east.
On Monday, a majority of Libya’s internationally recognised parliament rejected a UN peace deal and a proposal for a national unity government, an MP and media reports said.
