Displaced Syrian woman shot dead by Islamic State affiliates in Al-Hawl camp
SOHR activists have documented the death of a displaced Syrian woman, as she was shot by ISIS affiliates in “Al-Hawl mini-state” in the far south-eastern region of Al-Hasakah countryside.
The woman’s body was found in the camp’s third section which is specified for Iraqi refugees.
It is worth noting that this is the fourth murder in June, where these murders left five women: two unidentified women and three displaced Syrians, dead.
Accordingly, the number of murders documented in the camp since early 2022 has risen to 20, which left 21 people dead; and they are as follows:
– Six Iraqi refugees, including two women.
– Eight Syrian people, including six women.
– Six unidentified women.
– A medic was killed in the post where he worked in the camp.
