GCC Chief Denounces Deadly Terrorist Attacks In Somalia
GCC Secretary General Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf on Thursday condemned two terrorist attacks with explosives-laden cars that happened in the town of Mehas in central Somalia where a number of people were killed and wounded.
Al-Hajraf in a statement emphasized the GCC unwavering rejection to all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism, calling upon the international community to take immediate action to stop such hostile acts.
He expressed condolences to the victims’ families, the government and people of Somalia, wishing the injured quick recovery.
Somali authorities on Wednesday declared that there were deaths and injuries as a result of terrorist attacks carried out by Al-Shabab militia, an offshoot of the notorious organization Al-Qaida
