Denmark stripes two citizens of citizenship for joining Islamic State ranks in Syria
The Danish authorities have announced that it stripped two of its citizens of their citizenship because they joined the ranks of Daesh “ISIS” terrorist organization in Syria.
The Danish Ministry of Immigration and Integration said in a statement today that two decisions have been taken to strip citizenship because of behavior which is very detrimental to the vital interests of the state.
The ministry did not give details on the identity of those who were striped of citizenship, but according to the Danish press, the two persons are a 25-year-old man with Turkish and Danish citizenship and a woman.
European countries are witnessing a state of security alert for fear of the rebound of terrorism, which some of these countries have supported and ignored its crimes in Syria to their territories, especially after the occurrence of terrorist attacks in European cities.
