Delhi Police uncovers Al-Qaeda-inspired terror module in joint operation

Delhi Police’s Special Cell has successfully dismantled an Al-Qaeda-inspired terror module in a major breakthrough. The operation, carried out in coordination with police forces from Jharkhand, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, revealed that the module was led by Dr. Ishtiaq, a resident of Ranchi.

The terror module was reportedly planning to execute several attacks across the country. Members of the group had received weapons training at various locations.

As part of the operation, six suspected terrorists were arrested in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, while undergoing weapons training. Additionally, eight suspects were detained from Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh for questioning.

Delhi Police recovered weapons, ammunition, and literature during the raids, which are still ongoing. The Special Cell played a crucial role in thwarting potential terrorist activities, marking a significant success in the fight against terrorism.
