Iraqi Army Forces target dangerous meeting of ISIS leaders in Western Anbar
The Iraqi war media cell announced that the Iraqi warplanes targeted a meeting of immense significance for the ISIS leaders in the region of al-Qa’im, West of Anbar Province, killing at least 13 members.
In the meeting, the ISIS leaders were plotting serious attacks to be carried out during the upcoming Muslim holy month of Ramadan, Bas News reported.
The Intelligence Falcons cell of the intelligence service, in coordination with the Joint Operations Command, carried out an operation targeting an important meeting in which the ISIS leaders were planning terrorist attacks against citizens during the holy month of Ramadan, the source said.
The air strikes resulted in the deaths of 13 ISIS senior members and destruction of a number of targets including weapons caches and a laboratory for explosives, belonging to the terror organization.
