ISIS carries out a counterattack at the outskirts of Al-Mayadin and pulls about 10 dead bodies of the regime forces
The western outskirts of Al-Mayadin city are witnessing violent clashes again, coincided with a violent and continuous shelling by the regime forces on areas in the city and bombing by the Russian warplanes and regime’s warplanes on areas in the city, where they were seen targeting the city.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the Islamic State terrorists carried out a counterattack on areas controlled by the regime forces in the western part of the city. There the organization was able to cause casualties in the ranks of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them and also was able to pull the bodies of about 10 of them and threw them in the squares of Al-Mayadin city from which many of the inhabitants have displaced towards Deir Ezzor Desert.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received information that the organization was able to capture wounded and members of the regime forces and its supporting forces, while the violent clashes continue between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against members of the Islamic State terrorists of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, coincided with violent clashes in the deserts of Al-Boleel and Beqres, where the regime forces seek to advance and go deep in Al-Mayadin city.
After being able in the last 48 hours to control the Sheep Market, the automated Furnace, Rahba Castle and the airstrip, and the violent clashes and intense shelling have caused the death of more members of both parties.
