And it was stated in the statement:

Our special forces H.A.T and the General Security Directorate, in coordination with the International Coalition, managed to arrest four members of the ISIS organization who infiltrated from the areas west of the Euphrates to the town of “al-Jeneina” west of Deir ez-Zor, on Wednesday, December 25.

The qualitative operation came after monitoring the movements of the terrorist elements by the international coalition, where our forces successfully raided and arrested them without any casualties on their side. Weapons and equipment that were in the possession of the detainees were also seized.

Our forces confirmed that preliminary investigations with the apprehended individuals are still ongoing, in preparation for their referral to the judiciary in accordance with legal procedures.

It is worth mentioning that our forces continue their intensive operations to pursue terrorist and criminal cells, striving to establish security and stability in the region, and to prevent any threats that may target the safety and security of our people.
