Clashes erupt between Islamic State cells and family of person abducted by the terrorist group

Syrian Observatory sources have reported clashes with light weapons between ISIS cells and the family of Tartab in al-Zarr village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

The clashes came after ISIS members stormed the house of a member of this family and took him to unknown destination for “looting money under the name of the Islamic State”.

On April 23, SOHR sources reported that unknown gunmen, believed to be of ISIS cells, targeted “al-Zarr Municipality” of “Deir Ezzor Civil Council” in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor with an RPG shell. The attack caused material damage, but no casualties have been reported.
