ISIS claims responsibility for killing 120 people in 3 months
The Islamic State (IS) has claimed responsibility for the killing in Syria of 120 persons in less than 3 months. These killings were conducted during attacks of its cells in the Euphrates valley, in the eastern part of the country and in other areas of the war-torn country.
This news was made public this morning by Nabaa, an IS publication distributed though its social media channels. The news includes 59 military operations by jihadists in Syria from 1 August until 5 October. The majority of the victims (103) are Kurdish and Arab militia, part of the coalition led by the Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK), present in the north and north-east of Syria since 2012 who have been supported for years by the United States.
ISIS has also claimed responsibility for the killing of 19 government military and filo-Russian and filo-Iranian auxiliary militia, during operations on the west bank of the Euphrates river and in central Syria.
Over the last days, the Syrian government and Russia attributed to “the Islamic State” the responsibility of a dynamite attack near the capital, Damascus, which killed 18 government soldiers last week.
