Two children killed in Taliban and ISIS infighting in Kunar
Several Taliban and ISIL militants along with two children were killed or wounded during a clash between the Taliban and ISIL loyalists in Eastern Kunar province of Afghanistan.
The 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan Military in the East said the clash broke out between the two sides in Watapur district, Khaama Press reported.
According to a statement released by 201st Silab Corps, at least four Taliban militants were killed during the clash and three others sustained injuries. The statement further added that four militants affiliated with the ISIL were also killed during the fighting.
In the meantime, the 201st Silab Corps said two children were also killed or wounded during a clash, including a two-year-old girl who lost her life while a one-year-old girl sustained injuries.
The anti-government armed militant groups including Taliban and ISIL militants have not commented regarding the report so far.
