Car bomb explodes near a military vehicle in rural Deir Ezzor as SDF clashes with the Islamic State cells
A car bomb exploded on the main road Of Deir Ezzor – al-Busayrah near Abriha village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, at a time when a military vehicle of the SDF was passing in the area, which caused material damage.
In the same context, forces of Hajin Military Council of the SDF clashed with four members of the “Islamic State” organization’s cells, where forces of the Military Council managed to kill one of them, arrested two others, while the fourth one drowned in Euphrates River while he was trying to escape to regime forces’-controlled areas.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored on the 22nd of February 2020 that three SDF members were shot dead by unknown assailants in separate incidents in Al-Harmoushiyah village in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, Daman village in the eastern countryside, and Al-Izbah village, north of Deir Ezzor city.
Meanwhile, a civilian mediate reconciliation deals with Syrian regime was shot dead by unknown assailants in Al-Helwah village, near Al-Busayrah city. In Hawija Theban town, the body of a civilian was found with marks of gunshots on, after being missing a few days earlier.
Another civilian was assassinated by masked gunmen inside his shop in Al-Helwah village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. Reliable sources informed SOHR that International Coalition forces carried out an airdrop on the civilian’s house a few days earlier in which they killed an ISIS security official who was hiding there.
