ISIS captures several Al-Nusra-held regions in Syria’s Hama
The ISIS terrorist group stormed Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at or the Levant Liberation Board) positions in Northern Hama, capturing 13 villages, field sources reported on Tuesday.
ISIS engaged in fierce clashes with the rival terrorist group of Al-Nusra and managed to capture the villages of Hasarat, Rasm al-Ahmar, Sarha, Sarha al-Shamali, al-Mastarihe, Um al-For, Wadi al-Zaroub, Jubb al-Tablaqiyeh, Abu Lafa, al-Naqileh, Marijab, al-Jamlan and al-Shakousiyeh.
In a similar case of infighting among rival terrorist groups but in Idlib province on Monday, the Al-Nusra Front engaged in fierce clashes with two other terrorist groups after the Turkish Army troops crossed the border into Syria.
The militant-affiliated websites said that Al-Nusra started clashes with Ahrar al-Sham and Faylaq al-Rahman in the town of Armanaz in Northwestern Idlib and captured the town.
A number of gunmen from both warring sides were killed or wounded in the clashes.
A Turkish military delegation, accompanied by an Al-Nusra escort, entered Northern Idlib via Atmah passageway to take part in negotiations with Al-Nusra, the websites disclosed.
In the meantime, former Chief Commander of Ahrar al-Sham said that Al-Nusra attacked Ahrar al-Sham and other terrorist group to force them to stop demand for Turkish military intervention some two months ago, but now, the Al-Nusra is ignoring the Turkish forces’ military meddling.
