SDF capture 7 mercenaries of ISIS in Deir Ezzor

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) arrested 7 ISIS mercenary cells in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and confirmed its continuation in pursuing sleeper cells and maintaining the security and stability of the region.

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces published on Saturday a news about the operation carried out against ISIS mercenary cells in the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, stating: “the commandos of our forces and the internal security forces, in cooperation with the international coalition forces, arrested 7 terrorists belonging to the ISIS terrorist organization in the town of Izba in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

” Our forces seized various weapons, communication devices, equipment and documents proving their connection with the terrorist organization “ISIS”.

Our forces confirm that they are continuing to combat and dismantle ISIS terrorist cells, control the security and stability of the region, protect residents and preserve their property,” it added.
