Bus carrying passengers targeted by landmine in Kandahar
A bus carrying passengers was targeted by a roadside bomb on Kandahar-Herat highway this morning.
Preliminary reports indicate that two passengers were martyred and at least ten others were injured in the blast.
The bus carrying passengers and collided with a landmine planted on the side of the road at Mirakhor Bazaar in Maiwand district of Kandahar.
Kandahar security official confirmed the blast, saying that according to initial reports, two civilians were martyred and at least ten other civilians were injured.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the blast, but security sources in Kandahar have blamed Taliban.
