Muslim Brotherhood invest around 40 million Egyptian pounds in Turkey-based “Watani” TV channel

A security source in the Egyptian Interior Ministry confirmed that some members of the Muslim Brotherhood voiced their resentment over the excessive spending on the Turkey-based “Watani” TV channel, which amounted to 40 million pounds ($2.22 million).
The source disclosed that the Muslim Brotherhood’s international organization held a conference in Malaysia titled:”The Role of Youth in Countering Extremism” attended by representatives from several countries. However, this conference was met by anger from some of the group’s leaders for what they described as ‘violation of the thought ‘of Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna.
