Bomb threat suspect tells PBSO he killed 10 girls, had ISIS training

An 18-year-old accused of threatening to a terror attack on Palm Beach Gardens High School claimed he had ISIS training.

He also claimed to have killed ten girls, an assertion that authorities had no evidence to indicate was true.

Deputies from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) reported that they responded to JFK Hospital on January 25, regarding a suspicious incident involving 18-year-old Ricardo Alfeo.

Upon their arrival, they met with West Palm Beach Police Officers who were holding Alfeo in custody for a battery charge.

While in custody, Alfeo reportedly made statements, claiming he had committed multiple murders in the Palm Beach County area and expressed a desire to speak with detectives.

During a post-Miranda interview with PBSO, Alfeo revealed disturbing plans to carry out a terror attack by bombing Palm Beach Gardens High School. He mentioned that he had been taught by ISIS how to create explosives, citing bullying and mistreatment in school as his motive for the attack.

Additionally, Alfeo discussed “killing” ten female victims aged between 12 and 18 at Cabana Colony Park on Holiday Road in Palm Beach Gardens. The report notes that as of now PBSO does not have any active homicide investigations linked to the claims made by Alfeo.

Detectives determined that Alfeo appeared homicidal due to his claims.

Alfeo has been accused of threatening to discharge a destructive device at a property.
