Terror organization: Hezbollah

Status: A senior field commander who over the years commanded a number of different areas in various regions of the Middle East. He was a prominent figure and was expected to rise to the top of the organization’s commanders in the next decade.

Role: Commander at Radwan forces. In 2006, Shukr’s role emerged as one of those who crossed into the occupied territories and participated in the capture of the two Israeli soldiers, Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev. He had very close ties with Imad Mughniyeh.

He spent years in Iraq as Hezbollah’s envoy in the country. He was in charge of planning and training the local militias to fight against the US troops and later against ISIS.

Since 2015-2022 Shukr was the first and one of the most important envoys of Hezbollah to the Houthis in Yemen.

He was the first to upgrade their combat capabilities including UAV training. He had a critical influence on Houthi battles in against KSA and UAE in Hajjah, Hodeida, Al Jawf and Marib. Shukr worked as an assistant in the Houthi Jihad Council and participated in developing their missile capabilities and aviation systems, planning and executing special operations in Yemen and Saudi Arabia. During all these years he was receiving orders directly from Ibrahim Aqil.

In 2022 he returned to Lebanon and took part in the October war against Israel since October, 2023. He was eliminated in October, 2024.
