At least nine civilians injured in mortar shell
Nine civilians were wounded yesterday when a mortar shell hit them in Qala-e-Naw, center of Badghis province.
Abdul Latif Rustaee, head of Badghis Public Health Department told media that nine civilians, including a child were wounded when several mortar shells hit the capital of the province.
He added that all the injured were taken to Badghis Provincial Hospital and that five of them who had received superficial wounds were released after receiving first aid.
