At least 80 Islamic State terrorists surrender in Nangarhar
At least 80 Daesh members surrendered to the Islamic Emirate in Nangarhar province, the provincial media relations department said on Sunday.
According to the department, the Daesh members surrendered to the Islamic Emirate through the mediation of tribal elders.
Dr. Bashir, director of intelligence for Nangarhar province, said these Daesh members are residents of 10 districts in the province, the media relations department said in a series of tweets.
The department said that considering the general amnesty, these men have been granted amnesty.
Meanwhile, the surrendered Daesh members said they will support the Islamic Emirate.
Tribal elders also said if anyone provides housing to Daesh members in the province, their homes will be set on fire and the hosts themselves will be expelled.
