At least 22 Islamic State suspects nabbed in anti-terror raids
Some 22 suspects were arrested in southern Turkey on Tuesday over their suspected links to the Daesh terror group, according to security sources.
The suspects, including women and foreign nationals were found to be involved in terrorist activities for Daesh in Syria.
During raids at various addresses, digital materials and organizational documents were also seized.
More than 300 people have been killed in Daesh-claimed attacks in Turkey, where the terrorist group has targeted civilians in suicide bombings, rocket, and gun attacks.
Turkish security forces have been involved in a long-running campaign to thwart the Daesh threat.
