Tahrir al-Sham arrested two important ISIS commanders in Idlib
Hayat Tahrir al-Sham has arrested two men said they had links with Daesh in northern Idlib province, such a move follows after a series of assassinations targeted commanders of the former al-Qaeda branch in Syria.
Two senior Daesh commanders were arrested in Sarmada, the border town with Turkey.
Over the past weeks, Tahrir al-Sham has been tracking ISIS sleeper cells in Idlib.
The formerly known as Nusra Front said sleeper cells in Idlib are being led by the Russia from its coastal air base in Hmeimym.
More Daesh cells will be eliminated very soon after intense efforts by the domestic security, according to the official.
The state of security chaos has been continued in Idlib province as tens of Tahrir al-Sham members have been killed in the last few weeks.
Meanwhile, unprecedented mobilization by the Syrian military aircrafts and logistical preparations at the airports of Dumeir, T-4 and al-Seen in coordination with the Russian base of Hmeimim in coastal Latakia province.
The northwestern province, which lies along the border with Turkey, has been held since 2015 by the jihadist-led Hayat Tahrir al-Sham alliance and other rival rebels.

Idlib and slivers of adjacent provinces form the largest remaining block of rebel territory — and the next expected target of Bashar al-Assad’s troops and their Russian allies.
Since Syria’s conflict erupted in 2011, more than 350,000 people have been killed, more than 11 million have fled their homes and medical infrastructure has been systematically targeted.
