Around 11 million pounds is the cost for rebuilding the Malawi Museum which was set on fire by the Muslim Brotherhood
The Egypt’s Malawi National Museum it was burnt down by the Muslim Brotherhood, but it was subsequently reconstructed. The report reveals that the total costs of the museum’s reconstruction came to 11 million pounds ($1.25 million).
The costs were shared by the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities, which provided around 4 million pounds ($454,000), and Minya province, which allocated 3 million pounds ($340,000 dollars).The project also benefited from an Italian grant of four million pounds ($454,000).
