Armed Taliban leader killed in latest attack in the Logar province
An armed Taliban leader was killed in Pol-e Alam city Logar province yesterday.
Shahpoor Ahmadzai, spokesman for Logar Police Command, told BNA that an armed Taliban leader in Pol-e Alam city who was wearing a veil and wanted to carry out a terrorist attack, was identified and killed by security officials.
Ahmadzai said the government’s armed opposition has always carry out terrorist attacks wearing veil and women’s’ dress.
Residents of Pol-e Alam say that Pol-e Alam has witnessed the assassination of security forces in recent days.
Meanwhile, in the last three weeks, several police officers in Pol-e Alam city have been targeted by gunmen and killed.
