The number of victims in the new mass grave is not known so far, he stated.

The IS jihadists attacked Sinjar on 3rd August 2014 after they seized control of Mosul in northern Iraq. They massacred thousands of civilians and kidnapped many more.
Hundred of thousands of Yezidis were displaced at the result of the brutal acts of the extremist group. More than 3,000 people abducted by IS are still missing.
