Status: A key figure and facilitator to the Houthis in Yemen. Operations officer.

Role: One of the most senior Hezbollah advisors to the Houthis, who participated in key battles that enabled the Houthis to gain control over vast areas in Yemen. He participated in the leadership of battles to capture the city of Amran and was active in the Al-Ghoul area of Amran governorate. Hezbollah defined Ali Adel al Ashmar as the “Shahid and commander”, title only the elite field commanders received.
