Ahmad Mahmoud Wahbi
Terror organization: Hezbollah
Status: Senior commander. His last position was commander of the central training unit of Radwan.
Role: He was an operative since the establishment of the organization. He was one of the main thinkers and planners of the Radwan force’s operational plan for the invasion of the Galilee.
He was captured by Israel in 1984 and released later on. Since then, he held various command positions in the Central Training Unit: of the organization and from there he moved on to train Radwan’s forces as part of the preparations for the “Galilee Invasion Plan”. After the elimination of Wissam Tawil, he was appointed temporarily to be the commander of the Radwan unit, and then again took responsibility for the Central Training Unit.
Hezbollah defined Wahbi as the “Shahid and commander”, and he is the fourth in the organization to receive this nickname. He was preceded by Muhammad Naama Nasser, Wisam Tawil and Abu Taleb.
