Afghan army forces arrested ISIS group member in Kabul
The Afghan security forces have arrested a group member of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria Khurasan (ISIS-K) in Kabul, the Ministry of Interior said Tuesday.
The ministry further added that the ISIS-K group member was arrested from Bagrami district of Kabul.
No further details have been given regarding the identity of the detained terrorist.
In the meantime, the Ministry of Interior in a statement said at least three Taliban militants were killed and four others were wounded during the operations in northern Baghlan province.
The statement further added that the operations were conducted by Special Forces of the Afghan National Police and as a result several villages were cleared in Nahrin and Bor districts of Baghlan.
The police forces also confiscated some weapons and munitions during the same operations, the Ministry of Interior added in its statement.
